Samsung Exhilarate 2012

Samsung Exhilarate

New 4G LTE phones, but Samsung Exhilarate's appeal doesn't come from its specs as much as its price: $50. That doesn't mean the handset's anything shabby, though-coming to AT&T's 4G network in the coming months, the Exhilarate will have a 4" Super AMOLED display, front- and rear facing cameras, and access to AT&T U-Verse Live TV. And it's environmentally friendly; the Exhilarate's made from 80% recycled post-consumer materials and features special modes for energy efficient operation. Easy on the environment and the bank account I guess.

Verizon 4G Differences: HTC ThunderBolt vs. LG Revolution vs. Samsung Droid Charge

HTC ThunderBolt

From what I've heard of Verizon 4G LTE (Long-Term Evolution) network, and wants in. Maybe you're a Verizon customer and your contract has ended, or perhaps you're considering switching to Verizon from another company. In short: you want a 4G smartphone and do not know which to choose. We're here to help. Verizon 4G network has been running for a few months and there are currently three different phones to choose from, with a fourth soon. The Revolution of LG, Ray HTC, Samsung and cargo droid can be found at any Verizon store retail and we recommend you try all three. The Bionic Droid will come sometime in August. Before making your decision, however, you may want to read our notes on the three phones. These impressions come from the hands-on time spent with the three devices. What is better about 4G Verizon? I could go into details, but I have in our guide to 4G. Take a look to see what makes Verizon LTE 4G network other than the Sprint WiMax 4G network and separates both of 4G networks is AT & T and T-Mobile. For the sake of brevity, however, Verizon's 4G is now much faster than any other network, it uses a next-generation technology called LTE. Worst of all first-generation LTE mobile Fat: Being on the cutting edge of technology means that you will hurt a little. Verizon LTE 4G network is still in its infancy, as is wireless reception that is embedded in all these phones. The components required to connect to the network are expensive, large, and mobile phone manufacturers have not had much experience with them yet. Therefore, all three of these phones have some definite disadvantages compared to other high-end 3G phones coming out. All three of these phones are a bit fatter and thicker than the equivalent of 3G. There are huge, of course, but they are almost as fat as smartphones were two or three years. Android 2.2: Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) updates are finally coming to many devices, but all three of these phones is still running Android 2.2 (Froy), for now, and that's no fun. Gingerbread adds some nice touches to Android and seems to handle better battery life and, among other things. Some features of gingerbread can be found here and here. Battery life: All three of these phones have been criticized for having short battery life. Most users have learned how to change 4G on and off to save battery or have invested in additional battery packs or simply charge your phone more often, but not one of these devices manages power as well as a competitive 3G phone . Single-core: While many high-end 3G phones dual-core, all these phones are single core, which means you are working on the same power as smart phones that came out a 1GHz year. The Bionic Droid, hear, may be the first dual core 4G Verizon phone. With that out of the way, let's break from competition.HTC ThunderBolt Lightning was the HTC 4G LTE Verizon first and still probably the most famous and best-selling group. At one point, representatives of Verizon estimated that outsells the iPhone 4 in the network and HTC has reported strong demand for the phone. Price: $ 250 with two-year contract Good: Sense HTC user interface is probably the best of all manufacturers including HTC applications are very useful in comparison with others. We also like kickstand phone, watching movies on the phone. The beam also has a good feel for it, and feels more solid than the cell plastic and load Droid. The phone has 768MB of RAM, rather than competition. The bad: The phone had some problems restarting randomly, even though they have been fixed. The beam is also the thickest of the three phones, but not by much. Finally, it is the weakest of the drummer in the capacity of 1400mAh. Samsung loading droid Having seen the problems that arise with the beam, Samsung had a better attention to improving the life of the battery charge Droid, 4G LTE in the second phone from Verizon. Read our full review of load droid to get a complete overview over the phone. Price: $ 300 with a two-year contract Good: For some reason, the burden of droid seems to connect at speeds even faster than lightning (and much faster than the Revolution) in the analysis of New York. It also has the largest battery of 1600mAh and gets significantly better in life than lightning. It comes with a 32GB microSD card preinstalled, which is huge. Finally, the droid has a large cargo Super AMOLED screen is brighter than any of the other two phones. Bad: The most expensive of the three phones, and we do not like how the skin slippery and plasticy feel Droid load. Despite the preloaded microSD card, the phone only has 2 GB of internal storage. Samsung TouchWiz Interfact is certainly better than some, but we do not like the color combinations and the whole experience is a bit inconsistent when compared with a sense of HTC.LG was the third player in the game when 4G LTE and decided to call his phone "revolution" may have been referring to the 4G. Nope. It's an Android phone that has the services of Google. Runs on Bing. Price: $ 200 with two-year contract Good: The LG Revolution is by far our favorite phone to play one of the three. Your screen has some sort of magic for her sleek coat, and the total construction of the phone is solid. It also has a decent battery and 16GB of internal storage. Also, no matter the look and design of custom user interface LG Android. Bad: We would be willing to recommend the LG if they have a huge crippling flaw: It's a Google Android phone, but runs on Bing ... yes, Bing. Like the Fascinate Samsung, LG has taken advantage of Verizon Bing relations and became the sole search provider for the phone. This not only feels like a bit of a slap in the face of Google (which offered the operating system for free, after all), Bing is not as good as Google's services. You'll have to dig around the Android Market Maps Bing to escape and use all the Google services you expect in an Android phone, but no matter what you do, we have not found a way to remove Bing as the default search for the phone . How depressing. Apart from that, the camera is 5 megapixels, that is, its less capable than 8-megapixel camera in the other two devices. For some reason, the revolution seems to have 4G slower connections than the other two, at least in Upper Manhattan, where we tested. Our choice: Samsung loading droid The charge for Droid is not the best looking Android phone we've seen, but we believe it is the most complete 4G device currently on the market. It gets good battery life enough that you should not have the munchies to return after a week, and the screen is much brighter and livelier than the other two devices. Samsung TouchWiz user interface is not great but not bad, and the camera on the phone is solid, throwing good color brilliance and more accurate compared to other manufacturers. It is the most expensive group, but the 32GB memory card can help relieve pain. That said, the beam HTC phone is undoubtedly a decent, well and good, if you're okay with Bing as a search engine, we highly recommend the LG Revolution. It is the cheapest phone in the group, and pretty decent in most all categories. The Bionic Droid is coming out in the coming weeks. We will be sure to update this article when it arrives.
